Like many entrepreneurs, Jeff Sorensen started his business small. At the age of 12, he was hired to mow the lawn of Mrs. Thompson, a neighbor across the street from his family home in South Minneapolis. While initial earnings were spent on candy bars at the local drugstore, Jeff eventually gathered enough customers to put himself through school at the University of Minnesota. With a business degree under his belt, and eventually realizing that he preferred self-employment to the corporate world, Sorensen Lawn Care, Inc. was officially launched.

I think this service is exceptional. They have been mowing and clearing my yard for several years. I can set my watch by their arrival each week. I once complained to them that someone had put lawn waste in my "Recycle bin". No one from Sorenson pushed back too much and the next day a Sorenson truck took the waste away. Unfortunately I WAS WRONG and it turned out to have been the company that that had recently cleared my gutters. Needless to say I was mortified by mistake, by they had made me a customer for life. My only complaint is the fact they don't have a website and a method to pay online. But that is a VERY minor complaint and made so even more even more by the fact my Property management company handles the payments and simply deducts them from my draw. I strongly recommend this company

It was great. They got all the weeds out that I needed to be gone and their services are great. The only reason I'm not using him anymore is because of cost. The local guy is cheaper. He never charged me for the weeding job because I think he felt bad foe me because I had a broken ankle at the time when he came over to give an estimate. He did a really good job and I was always very satisfied with the work that his crew did. They do a good job.

Long search later, I went with this local, responsive company for weekly mowing and trim work. Their rates were very competitive and my lawn looks fantastic every Monday ... they even came out on the 4th of July Monday! I added seasonal fertilizer treatments because the price was affordable but my grass developed some brown patches. Next year I will opt out on the extra chemicals but I will be keeping the mowing service and may add some clean-up services. I have my weekends back and am no longer a slave to my lawn!
More snow last night-.75 so we're out at the properties with that service level.
3/4 of total snowfall, crews are out at houses/ properties with that trigger level.
A variety of snow amounts out there today:.75" max at airport, 1" in NE Mpls, 1.5" in northern suburbs. Crews are out, accordingly.
