The Eastern Heating & Cooling Council is a non-profit educational organization comprised of HVAC contractors, distributors, manufacturers and other trade allies. Since its formation in 1990, the Council has provided quality technical training to the HVAC community throughout the United States, offering a large selection of courses and seminars. If you want a dependable, skilled technician to service your home comfort system, then you want a certified technician. EHCC ensures its member contractors employ certified technicians and abide by a certain Code of Ethics to maintain membership with EHCC.
Closed classes are administered by our trade allies using EHCC instructors; our partners provide the venue and the promotion. EHCC has fostered relationships with various training institutions nationwide. Training continues to be a collaborative effort between the Council and professional institutions dedicated to providing quality HVAC instruction in conjunction with the commitment to serve the community. The Council also continually nurtures its connection with the community of HVAC consumers by educating them on the importance of energy efficiency and providing an online HVAC contractor search.
If you want a dependable, skilled technician to service your home comfort system, then you want a certified technician. NATE (North American Technician Excellence), BPI (Building Performance Institute), HVAC Excellence, IGSHPA (International Ground Source Heat Pump Association) and NORA (National Oilheat Research Alliance) are the leading national certification programs for technicians in the HVAC/R (heating, ventilation and air conditioning/refrigeration) industry. To find a certified technician, you need to find a certified contractor.
