Technician reassembled furnace/air handler improperly resulting in thermostat and furnace not functioning. I reassembled air handler after technician left and air handler and furnace began to work. Tech also left lights on and doors open.

Our water heater went out yesterday (Sunday) and I contacted them based on 24/7 service availability. The very nice customer service rep told me Payne would call 30 minutes prior to coming. This was approximately 3pm. At 6pm I called again to touch base and a different customer service rep shared she could see where Payne acknowledged my call, but could not tell me how many other calls he was working on or share how late it could be. She shared they are 24/7 and they would definitely call to come fix. Still no call at 8am the next day. Very disappointed. Maybe they are good during the week? I will not be finding out.

Have been with Knochelman for 14 years. When we bought our new home, we called them to replace an old oil furnace with a Trane heat pump. We have been very pleased with the comfort of our home. When we built out house, 2006, this company was called Stevenson, then Knochelmann & now Service Experts! We only needed regular seasonal check-ups...now 2017 the AC coil had a leak, R22 Freon can't be replaced so need a new AC. Paid $99 service call on 4/28 to be called on Saturday 4/29 for the estimate & setup installation. NEVER HAPPENED! NO FOLLOW UP CALL TO DATE 5/22/17. Needless to say, will NEVER use them again & had new AC installed by much better company, American Heating!

A few days ago, I decided to sign up for the Platinum Plus Protection plan. They sent a very knowledgeable technician, Dan, out the next day to assess the conditions of my HVAC units. He walked me through the condition of each, provided me with some helpful tips and things to watch out for, and replaced a part that had been out of date for some time.
