Great Works is recognized as one of the leading landscape firms in the region. We have worked with discerning residential and commercial clients in the Southern Maine and Mid Coast area and throughout New England, for more than 20 years. Our responsible approach to landscape design, efficient construction practices, and experienced employees make us stand out in our industry. Great Works has done all our landscaping from a 16 tree orchard and transplanting our privet hedge to building stone walls, hand splitting granite steps and laying a herringbone courtyard and stone walkways.

Great Works offers horticultural expertise which fosters healthy and beautiful results. Our estate gardening team is driven to care for our client's property maintenance. We offer several services including seasonal planting, weeding, mulching, deadheading, pruning and small project installations. Our seasoned gardeners are well trained and enthusiastic when it comes to the beauty of the natural world. Proper pruning, fertilization, water and disease monitoring are key to overall estate success.

Enthusiasm, diversity and scientific knowledge are at the core of our design initiative. With over 20 years of experience in landscape planning, we have the ability to listen, interpret and express ideas in a way that sets us apart from other firms. Michelle Grover, ASLA, earned her Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture from The University of RI in 2002. She is our lead designer dedicated to working with clients and interpreting their ideas. She specializes in site analysis, graphic plan production, and site coordination.

Great Works holds a team of experienced masons and well trained construction managers. We encourage all of our team to continue their education through the latest of related courses and certification seminars. With that approach, we believe our company will always be on the cutting edge of responsible practices and in balance with time honored quality. Great Works Landscape construction services are well known in Mid Coast Maine. We typically build with native materials including granite, premium bluestone, concrete pavers and brick.
