TK Mason, LLC is a masonry contractor specializing in repair and restoration services in addition to new construction. We work with brick, cement block, stone, plaster and concrete. Brick homes are low maintenance and come in a variety of colors and patterns. You may notice spalling or cracks in the brick on your home's exterior. The settling of your home and exposure the the elements can weaken mortar joins requiring tuck pointing. The masonry contractors at TK Mason can repair or replace your brick and block wall, window sill, walkway, porch or decorative pillars. Above windows and doors steel or cement lintels are placed to bear the weight of the masonry overhead. Over time rust can appear and you may notice sagging lintels.

We can also build custom fire pits, pizza ovens or rotisserie grills with a beautiful stone exterior. While stone itself is durable, other materials like mortar can be damaged by the elements. If you notice your wall bowing or buckling, it may need to be reset or replaced. Cracked or deteriorating mortar joins on your exterior walls may need tuck pointing from time to time.

While brick and stone chimneys are nearly maintenance free the mortar that holds the materials together can deteriorate over time. Our harsh Wisconsin weather can weaken mortar joins making your chimney vulnerable to leaks. If water gets behind the brick because of cracks you may start to see water damage inside your home. Tuck pointing is the process of removing loose or damaged mortar joints and replacing it with new mortar. In addition to the mortar mix, waterproofing sealants can be added to the mortar to help repel water.
