If restoration of shaft journals and / or tapers is required, EthosEnergy can restore them to assure reliability and functionality. EthosEnergy is familiar with all types of repair methods common on shaft repairs such as welding, laser cladding, and thermal spraying. Chrome plating is used as an alternative solution to turning down to undersized dimensions of the journals and is common practice for us. Repair solutions are based on the rotor's application (NACE), design requirements (API), or customer preference.
