We are an honest and dependable, family-oriented company that will go above and beyond the call of duty to exceed the expectations of our customers. I started in this profession at age fourteen, going to work with my father, Bud Lewis, Sr., every day over the summer and during school breaks. Working with my father was an awesome experience. In 1982, my father and I decided that we would venture out on our own, and started Lewis and Sons Air Conditioning, Inc. We have been an Arizona-based, family-owned and operated company for nearly 30 years.
Lewis and Son's Air Conditioning Inc. has been serving the Arizona, Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe, Chandler, Scottsdale, Gilbert metro area since 1982. Sales, Service, Repair and Installation of all Heating and Cooling Equipment are our specialties. Licensed, bonded, and insured for all Commercial and Residential Heating and Cooling systems. Call us at 480-832-6442. BBB and Roc complaint free since established in 1982. Family owned and operated. We take extreme pride in our work and are dedicated to our customers?
There are two common types of heat pumps: air-source heat pumps and geothermal heat pumps (GHPs). Either one can keep your home warm in the winter and cool in the summer. An air-source heat pump pulls its heat indoors from the outdoor air in the winter and from the indoor air in the summer. A GHP extracts heat from the indoor air when it's hot outside, but when it's cold outside, it draws heat into a home from the ground, which maintains a nearly constant temperature of 50? to 60? F. An air-source heat pump can provide efficient heating and cooling for your home, especially if you live in a warm climate.
What Is a Thermostat? It is a temperature-sensitive switch that controls a space conditioning unit or system, such as a furnace, air conditioner, or both. When the indoor temperature drops below or rises above the thermostat setting, the switch moves to the "on" position, and your furnace or air conditioner runs to warm or cool the house air to the setting you selected for your family's comfort. A thermostat, in its simplest form, must be manually adjusted to change the indoor air temperature. You can easily save energy in the winter by setting the thermostat to 68 degrees F (20 degrees C) when you're at home and awake, and lowering it when you're asleep or away.
