Hart Seed

In 1892, after working in the seed industry for 14 years, Mr. Charles C. Hart began a small seed packaging company for New England gardeners out of the back kitchen of the family home in Old Wethersfield, Connecticut. Six generations later, his great-great grandsons are managing the family company; still family owned and located in Old Wethersfield, Connecticut. From those simple beginnings, the company now offers a full line of vegetable and flower seed, lawn seed, fertilizers and other landscape products for home owners, farmers, landscape professionals and golf courses.
