Savoy was founded in 1995 by brothers Nader and Sasan Daghoghi and is located in Westport, Connecticut. Born in Hamadan, a major trade route and one of Persia's oldest cities, the brothers were exposed to the world of handmade rugs at a very early age. They soon developed a passion for these woven treasures and the detailed workmanship involved their creation. With over 20 years of experience in the rug industry, Sasan and Nader have acquired a deep understanding for their craft and acute talent in identifying and restoring rugs of all kinds.
