With over 40 attorneys, we're large enough to handle big, complicated transactions or disputes while small enough to provide responsive, cost-effective, senior level attention to every matter. We have chosen to focus our legal services in four main departments - business law, commercial litigation, employment and real estate - via talented, experienced attorneys, many of whom previously practiced at large international or national firms. Our Real Estate Department features two of our fastest growing and dynamic practice areas - renewable energy and hospitality.

Sherin and Lodgen's national renewable energy practice group represents lenders, developers, municipalities, and companies committed to sustainability through solar, wind, hydro, and energy storage initiatives. Clients rely on our experience in financing, development, acquisition, leasing, environmental, and permitting to navigate this ever-changing market and accomplish their business goals. We are frequently asked to speak on renewable energy issues and regularly attend industry conferences including Novogradac's Financing Renewable Energy Tax Credits Conference, American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) Wind Energy conference and a number of workshops for EUCI.

Sherin and Lodgen is committed to the advancement and success of our women attorneys and professionals. The mission of our Women's Initiative is to provide an internal network of support that fosters growth and achievement while connecting and learning with outside organizations that directly support women and women's causes. Women of Sherin and Lodgen serve on the firm's management committee, as department chairs, and lead various firm committees. Nancy S. Shilepsky, partner the firm's Employment Department, serves as Chair of the Women's Initiative and Beth A. Goldstein serves as vice-chair.
