Infusion Furniture is a Boston workshop designing and building original modern furniture and other custom woodwork. Our pieces can be seen in many local commercial and public spaces including hotels, restaurants, apartment buildings, retail stores, and offices, as well as in the homes of numerous private clients in Boston and beyond. We invite you to browse the collection and contact us for pricing and other information. Some of our most popular designs are the space saving Transformer Table, the colorful Trio Stools, and the multi-functional Workstation.
I started Infusion Furniture in Boston's Fort Point neighborhood after a short engineering career and several years of working in other workshops in Boston and Providence. Since 2006, I've been designing and building modern furniture and other custom work, with some help, for private residential clients and commercial projects. The commercial projects include work for hotels, restaurants, offices, and residential developments. The collection of work shown here represents some of what we have built over these years.
QUENTIN KELLEY - I grew up around tools and building projects as I helped my father, over some years, build our western MA house. After a grueling engineering program at Cornell University, and two years as a Peace Corps volunteer in the Dominican Republic, I decided to pursue the vague but lingering notion in the back of my head of working in wood. I landed at Dixon Brothers Woodworking in Boston's South End, after bugging owner Andy Dixon until he finally gave me a job. I picked up woodworking basics while building many, many doors and other architectural elements.
This is a kitchen we worked on recently. The upper cabinets on the outer wall have open backs with dichroic films, which are illuminated by the exterior window wall behind. A passageway separates the two walls.
Here's a nice view of our mahogany Dining Bench, in ribbon and plain mahogany, and wenge details. 46" x 12" x 19" high. And it's for sale.📸 @joelbphoto
