Yeager Woodworking custom furniture design led by artisan cabinetmaker Ron Yeager, has been providing unique and individually tailored projects for home and office for over 10 years. From heirloom furniture, custom doors, stairs to built-in bookcases, Yeager Woodworking can deliver. Many of the designs we produce come from working with our customers to find a style that fits their needs. Media centers, bookcases and built-ins are designed and integrated into the home's interior space, transforming ordinary walls into functional artwork.

Yeager Woodworking is a custom design and build fine furniture and cabinetmaking shop located in suburban Philadelphia. We have been providing homeowners, businesses, architects and design firms custom and historic doors, built in cabinetry, heirloom furniture, custom carpentry and stairs since 2002. We can incorporate sustainable and safe materials into any project or create a fully green cabinet installation. Owner Ron Yeager has worked on every one of our projects first hand, incorporating his masterful carpentry skill and personalized artisan accents to every piece.

My handmade furniture always starts with a design, yours or ours, on paper or verbal, I will work with you to get the vision realized. Sometimes a single piece of wood inspires a design and the rest of the piece develops around it. My furniture is built using classic techniques and results in an heirloom furniture piece that will be handed down for generations to come. The lumber I use is hand selected from local artisan sawmills. Many of my custom furniture projects are living happily in their new homes so all I have to show are the photos.

This gallery covers a broad range of projects we have completed over the years. The designs are personalized and built to suit individual needs and styles. Our cabinets can be manufactured in almost any size and configuration. Some are unfinished and were painted at a later date by the homeowners or their painter. We design and fabricate both modern and historic doors one at a time to your specifications. Our custom doors start with carefully selected hardwoods oriented for good color and grain matching as well as stability throughout seasonal changes. A door has to stand up to the elements on one side while being heated or air conditioned on the other. By taking the time to select the right lumber and proper milling techniques, our solid wood doors perform. All doors are constructed with a true mortise and tenon joint for strength and durability.

We use premium quality hardwoods selected for grain and color to make a staircase or railing project both safe and beautiful. Handrails and balusters are available in many standard profiles as well as customized designs. Stair treads and risers can be retro fitted to cover worn and damaged stair parts.
