Established in 1984, Chapman Technical Group has grown into a diverse firm offering engineering, architecture, interior design, landscape architecture and surveying. Chapman Technical Group maintains offices in St. Albans, and Buckhannon, West Virginia, and in 2013, the company was acquired by the Lexington, Kentucky-based A/E firm, GRW.
As the Owner's Architect, GRW provided planning, site development and architectural/engineering services for the design/build construction of coil steel warehouses and office facilities in Georgetown, KY, and Princeton, IN. GRW prepared A/E drawings including infrastructure analysis/design, road alignment, building siting, bid documents for each warehouse, stormwater management, rezoning and associated grading. GRW also acted as the Owner's advisor during the RFP preparation to solicit Design/Builders, and during construction of the facilities.

Chapman Technical Group and GRW's planning projects range from small municipal area development plans, to multi-building industrial complexes, to large joint-use military installations across the globe. By including our architects and engineers on each planning assignment, our clients recognize that their projects will be based on a constructible and financially implementable plan. Planning assignments are augmented by in-house tools such as web-based technology, GIS, aerial photography and 3D visualization.
