Carlson Steelworks was founded by Lowell Carlson in 1983. In 2000, after building the business and moving to the 2001 Grant Street location, his son Paul purchased the business. Paul further expanded Carlson and added a new fabrication shop in 2008. In 2011, Paul became a partner in Mt. Baker Powder Coating and built a new home for the business next door. Paul now is the 100% owner of Mt Baker Powder Coating. Carlson Steelworks provides friendly service with an emphasis on quality products and customer satisfaction.
