Municipal water systems have been around a long time - almost 4,000 years - and the City of Evans continues this long-standing tradition by ensuring our residents have constant access to the water they need. Whether it be for drinking, cleaning, or cooking, you can rest easy knowing that your water is taken care of. Not all water is treated to pass drinking standards. In Evans non-potable water can come from a wastewater treatment plant or the Evans ditch, and while it may not be treated, it can still be used in many areas.
I am calling BS on the City of Evans! Suddenly our recycling stopped being picked up and now the city is claiming, recycling is something "separate" we have to pay for! After 13+ years and steady, exorbitant rate increases by the city, now they claim we have to pay MORE to recycle! HELL NO! I guess we won't be recycling. Shame on you City of Evans!#CityofEvans#gougingyourciti zens#recyclingshould beagiven
