Hennes Services, Inc. is an industrial service company located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin offering numerous areas of expertise to its customers including crane service, rigging, machinery moving, machinery leveling & alignment, welding/fabrication, heated industrial warehousing, commercial/industrial HVAC including design/build, and 24/7 emergency service. In 1999, Hennes moved from it's former location in the Menomonee Valley of Milwaukee, to a new facility in West Milwaukee. It was at this time that Jack decided to step down and appointed his son, Michael Lang, as president of the company.

Our dedication to safety results in decreased down time allowing us to remain on schedule and under budget as well as ensuring our work is performed safety around our customer's employees and equipment. We have been awarded 1st place for safety 12 times between the award's creation in 1990 and discontinution in 2008 by the Eastern Wisconsin Erectors Association, a group including 12 Wisconsin based machinery movers/erectors in the southeastern Wisconsin region.

Q: Can you move.? A: If it's too big for a furniture mover, we almost certainly can move it, and there's a very good chance we already have moved something similar. Our extensive list of projects includes everything from document safes for the 440th Airlift Wing, gigantic murals at art musuems, hull sections of the Titanic at the public museum, massive engines flying overseas on one of the biggest planes ever built, all the way up 300 ton substation transformers and 500 ton turbine rotor shafts.

Started in 1906, John Hennes began Hennes Trucking Company with a wooden cart and a few horses. Over time, semi-tractors slowly replaced the horses and with the addition of winches and derricks, the company began to enter the heavy lifting business servicing many of Milwaukee's industries including breweries and foundries. In 1932, John Hennes sold the business to his son-in-law, Hillard "Butch" Lang and a business partner. As time went on, Hennes became the industry leader in southeastern Wisconsin for rigging, heavy hauling, boiler making, machinery moving, and also included Lang Cartage, a local trucking supplier who delivered goods to stores, factories, pharmacies, taverns, and more.
