Stephens Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. opened its doors in 1979 to serve the Mid-Willamette Valley. Since then our owner, Al Stephens, has strived to provide quality service for our customers at a reasonable price. We specialize in installing air conditioners, air-to-air heat pumps, ground source (geothermal) heat pumps, ductless heat pumps, electric furnaces, gas furnaces and radiant floor heating. We do custom sheetmetal orders and also offer options for indoor air quality in your home. These include electronic air cleaners, humidifiers, 7-day programmable thermostats and our custom-built ductwork made right here in our shop to fit your home's needs.

Geothermal (Ground Source) heat pumps are still very popular in our area. Many people are discovering the benefits of harnessing our Earth's constant ground temperatures. Stephens Heating is proud to be one of very few dealers in Oregon who is still installing these units. Ground source heat pumps can be installed on an open loop or a closed loop system. These configurations are described in detail below. We install ClimateMaster and GeoComfort brands for our customers' ground source needs. With many models to choose from, these brands have proven to be reliable and priced moderately for their high performance.

Working in the office of a heating company gives you plenty of face time with frustrated customers. What I've found is that most homeowners are frustrated because they are simply kept in the dark about their heating system and their options when replacing a furnace, adding on air conditioning, or choosing accessories for their duct system. They are at the mercy of contractors everywhere bombarding them with different opinions, different "facts" and statistics. Who do you believe?
