Our family owned and operated business has over twenty years of experience providing bathtub refinishing, tile resurfacing and repair, and countertop refinishing to homeowners, property managers and commercial properties throughout Southeast Michigan.

During the refinishing process your bathroom will be covered in plastic to protect it from overspray. We use an air exhauster during the process to remove overspray and most of the smell from the room. The bathtub is scrubbed clean with a powerful detergent that will remove any soap film build-up or residual film left behind by household cleaners.

We will come to your location and prep the bathtub using our exclusive Powerbond etch and prime system, for the perfect finish. We will then apply the new polyurethane coating to the surface. This usually takes 2-3 hours, depending on the condition of your bathtub. We will re-caulk the tub after if possible (depends on the size of the caulk line). We will be removing the overflow/trip lever and screen cover from the drain, you will be responsible for putting them back in the next day. Please clean floors, walls, vents, etc. that may have dust on them. This will reduce the chances of dust or other contaminants falling into the coating. Surface Solutions will be cleaning the surface as part of our process. However, we find that the finished product is improved when the surface is reasonably clean when we arrive. Any fixtures (drains, faucets, etc.) that are going to be replaced should be removed or replaced before we arrive.
