Season-long fertilizing and weed control is a key ingredient in the overall health of your lawn. Mr. Green™s standard program consists of six fertilizer treatments and one grub control. With our standard program, we visit your property every month from April through September to apply the appropriate feeding and/or weed/insect control application. Insect/Grub Control Application: A preventative treatment for the control of white grubs during the more devastating fall feeding cycle. Treatment is applied with the June or July fertilizer application.

Perimeter pest control provides a barrier that will protect your home from crawling insects such as spiders, ants, and centipedes. Our technician applies a granular or liquid product to the foundation and surrounding ground around your home for protection against crawling insects. Our perimeter pest control package consists of 3 applications spaced throughout the prime pest season, usually every 45 days beginning in May.
Mr. Green Lawncare Corporation offers mosquito control applications as a one-time event service, or a 4-Step program to protect you throughout the season. Our state certified professional applicators will apply a residual type product to all landscape beds, low bushes, and trees on your property, as well as your lawn. This control application kills mosquitoes on contact and continues to work for up to 28 days, depending on the amount of rain. We will also identify conditions conducive to mosquito populations on your property, and leave you written information on cultural practices to reduce mosquitoes.
Our technicians frequently use soil probes to check for excessive thatch layers, stunted root growth, and poor water drainage when servicing your lawn. Soil test kits are available through Mr Green Lawncare Corporation. We will collect the soil sample and forward the information to Michigan State University for testing. A small testing fee may be attached to the service. A healthy lawn or garden starts with knowing the condition of your soil. The Soil Test Self-Mailer provides you with everything you need to make the process easy.
