Many homeowners on Long Island are switching from oil to natural gas to heat their homes. As consumers tire of unpredictable oil prices and foreign sourcing, they are turning to clean-burning natural gas. Natural gas is an abundant resource that is delivered to households via underground piping. If National Grid has expanded natural gas service into your neighborhood, it's easier than ever to convert from oil to gas with Master Plumbing Heating Cooling. Our experienced technicians can handle the entire oil to gas conversion.

Indoor plumbing gives us the ability to enjoy clean running water throughout our home, however running water is only helpful so long as you can contain it. While your pipes may contain and direct water to where it needs to go, your faucets have the important job of opening or closing the water flow, keeping it closed off when it isn't needed, and blending hot and cold water to achieve an ideal temperature. Faucets also play an important role in preventing backflow, or the reversed flow of water back through your lines-an issue that could cause extensive health risks and other problems for our water supply.

Water quality is an issue that most homes struggle with, and most homeowners may not even know about. Do you struggle with limescale buildup on your faucets and fixtures? Does the water coming from your tap have a strange taste or color to it? Do you find that you're spending a ton of money every month buying flat after flat of single-use water bottles just so you can have clean water to drink? At Master Plumbing Heating Cooling, we want to help you find a practical and high-quality solution for your water problems, and we do that by offering premium water filtration systems designed to offer your entire home the high-quality water you deserve.

Water heaters have been more or less unchanged for decades, mainly due to the fact that the typical tank design has suitably served our homes and done what we need them to. However, these types of water heaters have a number of inherent flaws and shortcomings that their design isn't able to overcome. Tanks will corrode, wear out, and eventually start to leak, resulting in wasted water, energy, and damage to your home. They also are limited in the amount of hot water they can supply to your home, meaning eventually you'll have nothing but cold water available to you.

Your thermostat may be small, out of the way, and something you rarely think about all that often, but the truth is it's one of the most vital components to your entire heating and cooling system. While your compressor, condenser, heating and cooling coils, and all of the other parts that make heating and cooling happen are the brawn that gets the job done, your thermostat is the brain that controls them, turning them on and off at the right time in order to maintain your ideal temperature. At Master Plumbing Heating Cooling, we offer a complete selection of services for your thermostat, including repairing broken units, replacing worn-out or aging thermostats with modern, high-tech ones, and even calibrating or maintaining thermostats so they can do their job better.

Toilets are a simple and common and yet incredibly important part of our day to day life. When it comes to plumbing fixtures, your kitchen and your bathrooms are the most often-utilized spaces in your home. Your kitchen, in particular, requires a considerable amount of specialized plumbing equipment, including appliances, water connections, and more. The average kitchen features a number of different plumbing devices and fixtures, hot and cold-water connections, appliances like a dishwasher, refrigerator, and ice maker, a garbage disposal, and possibly even a water filtration system like a reverse osmosis system.

They are not answering calls, they put my ac in 2015 and 5 years later they don’t remember me being a customer after spending 18k, I had to send them copy of my invoice. They charged me 1100.00 to recharge my system 10 days ago. Them I had leak in my ductless unit and serviceman said tray was broke and will have them order ( said probably last guy from his company who looked at it once before in 2019 broke it, that’s when leak started) . it’s been 10 days and multiple messages and they have not called me back. Thank God I used Amex. So discussed , no customer service at all. Must say my service man who came was very knowledgeable and trustworthy but Customer service from office , not happy with.

Im a new customer of Master Mechanical, I just had them convert my house over to gas. Let me start out by saying they were slightly more expensive then the others that I had quotes from....In the end it was worth every penny. I had a nightmare of an experience with two separate plumbing companies. Not answering phone calls, putting me off time after time. Finally I pulled the permit for the conversion from the previous company and went back to Master Mechanical. First off they are extremely professional, the foreman was extremely knowledgeable and he did everything the way we asked from start to finish. The crew that did the work was amazing. The job took two days, couldn't have went any smoother. In the end, I wanted to kick myself for not realizing that paying a little more means something. I got a professional company that did exactly what I needed to get done with no issues, very easy to work with and CALLED ME BACK everytime. If you are looking for any boiler or plumbing work, don't fool yourself and make the same mistake I did, you are wasting your time and essentially money. Most importantly, Master Mechanical gave us peace of mind and no aggravation at all. TOP NOTCH COMPANY!

We used this company for both our switchover from oil to gas and then 4 years later used them again for our CAC install. They are trustworthy, honest, neat, clean and answered all of our questions multiple times. We really liked them and got multiple bids for each before deciding to go with them the first time and the next time.

We have been using Master Mechanical for more than 10 years on two homes. Master Mechanical technicians are courteous and always on time. The office workers are kind and professional.

Converted from Oil to Gas. Gave me a good quote and explained exactly what they would be doing. Workers who installed the units were great and amazingly clean. No oil mess left at all. We will see how the service is this year.

Master is excellent at proposing HVAC, water heaters and boilers. It is service after the sale where the business lacks. The advertisement says 24 hour service which means if you call after 5 you get the answering service and a 90 minute callback where they tell you all the service trucks are in for the night. If you call after 9 you don't get a callback until after 8 the next day. New water heater was connected backwards, they sent a plumber and charged for a service call but were nice enough to remove it when the mistake was pointed out. When the air conditioner failed after three service calls, two were chargeable, they proposed a $600 leak detection service. Enough! Called another HVAC service company who identified the problem on the first call.
