I woke up this morning to a broken A/C. BlueAir was able to come this morning, diagnose the problem, and fix the problem. After replacing a capacitor to correct the problem, they also verified that the system was working correctly by measuring the temperature drop in the air handler and whether the refrigerant pressure was correct. I had them add refrigerant, and my system is working great now. The technicians seemed honest and knowledgeable.
I believe my old AC unit was the one that was installed when the house was built in 1980. As you can imagine, the old unit was clunky, loud, and unreliable. I wanted to have it replaced before the summer heat was at its worst. Marianna came out and walked through the different units they could install and went over the cost and benefits for each unit. There was no hard sell. I was left with information to read over so I could make an informed decision. I loved that there was no hard sell. I contacted BlueAir the next day with my decision and my job was scheduled for the following week.

Our A/C stopped working in January. BlueAir was very responsive and came out the same day and diagnosed the problem (compressor went out). The technician who came out was very friendly and kindly humored all of my many questions about the A/C unit, the pros and cons of whether to replace the compressor or replace the condenser, and questions about proper hvac maintenance. I kept the poor guy for almost an hour with questions.
Later BlueAir followed up with 2 quotes for repairing or replacing the entire condenser and weren't pushy about which to go with and left it up to me to decide. I'm used to places trying to up sell me or convince me to spend more money, but Blue Air was not salesy at all.
I opted to replace the condenser since the old one was 10 years old anyway. They came out the next business day and installed the new unit. The guys were professional and I was happy with the install. I was particularly happy with how they tidied up the electrical lines from the house and installed a proper electrical box (the previous unit had been installed in an odd way that I'm fairly certain was not up to code).
After the install they walked me through the new unit and the warranty and only casually mentioned their maintenance plan, but didn't push it.
Overall I'm very pleased with BlueAir's service and I highly recommend them. Fair pricing, not pushy, friendly, and knowledgable.
We've been using Blue Air for several years now after cycling through 4 other local A/C companies- including the one that did our original install-that were less than ideal. Completely frustrated, my brother-in-law- who does A/C in another Texas town - recommended Blue Air as he knew them from some training classes he had taken and really respected them. We've been very thankful for their services ever since! We have a rather large house with 3 units, so it's a bit complicated, but they always perform, are courteous and professional, and are honest in their assessments and services. Often times the issue is a simple fix, like today web a switch on the attic got accidentally flipped. They could have EASILY sold us a story that would have cost us hundreds, but Andrew fixed it and it only cost us the regular trip visit fee.

One of the best companies we have dealt with! Right from the phone call to Blue Air, they were right on! Mark had someone come to repair our unit within 2 hours. Brandon, the technician, was very professional and a nice guy. He took care of the problem right away. He even had to make a run to central Austin to get the right part for us. He was back within 20 minutes. Finished the job and left. Mark at the office also realized that they had overcharged us so he called us and gave us the refunded the extra charge. Bottom line, Very fast, very professional and very honest. Thank you BlueAir! We will call you again in the future and you should too!
BlueAir installed a new HVAC unit in our house almost exactly two years ago. My husband and I noticed over the last week that the AC was running constantly, yet our house was not cooling down. After opening the door to the closet in which the HVAC unit is housed, we noticed the ductwork coming out of the unit was torn and falling off, allowing all of the cool air to seep out into the closet.
We called BlueAir this morning, and Mark seemed really intent on making things right and had a technician here to make repairs within an hour. The man they sent did an excellent job redoing the ductwork, and we aren't being charged for anything.
Although I would have preferred the initial installation had been done properly, I appreciate a company who works to make things right with their customers. We will continue to use BlueAir for all of our HVAC needs.
They are out to target those who do not know how to turn a screwdriver, its apparent in how they down talk to others. I called them to come service my Lennox system before I sold my house. They had the audacity to lie to my wife's face, then call me about the system stating that they could not clean it as it was rusted out. They stated I needed to replace my entire HVAC system. I told them to pound sand, and called another certified HVAC technician. The second guy I told him to point out all of the issue BlueAir stated, and he said it was not true, and was able to clean the system without issue.
The fact that they were trying to take advantage of someone serving the Armed Forces at the same time on travel just takes this entire situation to a new low. Take advantage of people is one thing, trying to do the same to those serving our country shows the company's character.
My upstairs A/C stopped working overnight. I called the original installer to schedule a repair and the earliest they could come was in 3 days. I told them nevermind and they said hold on ... we can be there in 2 days!
So I then called BlueAir and left a message at 8:00 am. They returned my call at 8:30 am and told me they'd have someone here by 9:00 am. Their technician arrived right on time, determined I had a bad capacitor (which was still under warranty), and completed the repair by 9:30 am! I paid for the diagnosis and labor only. Amazing quick service!
My original installer called later that afternoon to say they could squeeze me in but they were too late.
