Many different things can affect the removal of a tree. The location of the tree, its height, its width, the number and size of the tree's branches or limbs, and other factors, such as the tree's proximity to utility lines or other obstacles, determine the ease or difficulty of removal. Access to the tree is also important in terms of how easy or how difficult it is to easily get the equipment we need on site for efficient removal of the tree. For these and other reasons we suggest that you call for one of our experts to give you a professional bid or quote on your tree removal.
After your tree surgeon has removed the tree, a short stump is left, approximately 2-3 inches above ground level. Complete stump removal requires a special, high powered grinding machine. The stump removal can be included in the overall price or it can be quoted separately. It has long been the practice of Dallas Tree Surgery by A Better Arborist®, to grind any exposed roots, to the extent possible, along with the stump so as to maximize the appearance of the area after tree removal.
A Better Arborist® offers "customer made" wrought iron firewood racks, giving the customer a choice of having a rack built with or without a door. A Better Arborist® can deliver your custom made firewood rack along with your firewood order. Some cities requires that firewood is kept 18 inches above the ground to prevent insect infestation. All firewood racks made by A Better Arborist® are of good quality and are 18 inches above the ground. Firewood, regardless of species, has approximately the same energy content per pound of wood.
A Better Arborist® offers a full multi-ton crane service for scheduled and emergency service. When you need fast precision crane service to clear roadways or for scheduled tree service, we are contractually staffed by full service professionals to provide all crane services for safe, efficient tree removal. Your tree surgeon at A Better Arborist® will coordinate with all utility companies, and permit requirements when and if required. If your tree removal includes working around power poles and power lines, it may be necessary for A Better Arborist® to notify your electrical company depending on the situation.
When you are thinking about tree pruning, think of getting your hair cut and styled. When properly done, it is a great experience and it leaves you feeling revitalized and happy. In many ways your hair cut experience is what a tree experiences with professional pruning. Skilled, professional pruning, especially of large shade trees, is important to the health of the tree and can greatly extend its life. If the pruning is not properly done, the tree can be stressed, damaged, or permanently injured.
This was a job A Better Arborist® did over a holiday weekend, when most other tree services were closed. This was a Red Oak tree that split and partially fell on top of the customer's house. We removed the tree, hauled off the brush and logs, and grinded out the stump. At right is a huge tree that blew over during a storm in Coppell, Texas. Arborist® removed this large tree and hauled off all the logs and debris. This was a Red Oak that was around 150 years old and 65 feet tall that blew over and crashed into the customer's roof, causing major leaks in the roof and did extensive damage to the house.
