PJ's Plumbing was established as a one-person operation by Paul Glapinski in 1998 to serve both residential and small commercial clients. Apparently, news of PJ's reliable service, top-notch plumbing and fair pricing spread quickly. PJ's has grown every year since its founding in the geographic area it serves and the plumbing services it offers. In June of 2012, PJ's expanded staff and service area by acquiring JD Wilson Plumbing in Merton. Today, PJ's Plumbing assists clients throughout Southeastern Wisconsin with new home construction, remodeling, emergency service, general repair and more.
For PJ's Plumbing founder Paul Glapinski, plumbing was a matter of pursuing his passion. Paul began his plumbing career serving as an apprentice at Schroeder Plumbing. While he further developed his skills and gained experience in all areas of residential and commercial plumbing, he earned his journeyman license and his master plumber's license. In 1998, Paul established PJ's Plumbing in Hartland, Wis, as a one-person operation dedicated to top-notch plumbing and fair pricing for residential and small commercial clients.
A kitchen remodel still tops the list of home improvement projects. You spend a lot of time in this central gathering place, so your kitchen should reflect your taste and needs. And, a kitchen upgrade is still one of the best ways to increase the value of your home. With so much at stake, it pays to be choosy about the products you select and the contractor you use for installation. At PJs, we take great pride in our work. We offer a wide variety of high quality products to choose from, and we provide first-rate service that is delivered on time and within budget.
In the event of a plumbing emergency, it's good to know how to quickly cutoff the water from its source. Take some time to locate the shutoff valves for your sinks, toilets, dishwasher, washing machine and water heater. Your best bet is locating the main water shut-off valve in your home. This turns all the water off in the house. Put a tag on the valve, so you and other people in your home can easily find it. Water heaters need to be serviced by an authorized technician depending on the manufacturer of the unit.
Preventive maintenance is the most effective way to ensure that your plumbing systems are running at peak efficiency and performance. With a maintenance contract, PJs can conduct scheduled inspections and perform preventative maintenance to avoid costly repairs in the future. We check for leaks, rust and low water pressure. We inspect appliances and change filters. Accidents can and do happen, but with a maintenance contract, PJs can provide property owners with peace of mind knowing that most plumbing mishaps can be avoided.
