Dan Vos Construction Company is a full-service construction firm, serving Grand Rapids, West Michigan and the Midwest by delivering effective building solutions to clients through design-build, general contracting and construction management methods. Headquartered in Ada, Michigan, we provide architectural engineering as well as facility maintenance and steel services. We are so proud and thankful to receive the 2020 Michigan Contractor of the Year (MCOY) on the 10th Anniversary of the MCOY itself.

As your Construction Manager, we are your advocate through each phase of the building project. We understand the planning, design and management of a project on a deeper level, because our project managers work alongside and draw upon the expertise of our in-house architectural, engineering staff. Our combined in-house skill set and knowledge allow our team to bring you an exceptional facility through a successful construction management process. We take a comprehensive and proactive approach to managing scheduling, estimating, budget control, value engineering, sub-contractor bid solicitation, on-site supervision, quality control, cost control, safety monitoring, communications services, total project management and a commitment to delivering expert approach and exceptional value from start to finish.

As your general contractor, we will oversee your project working with our staff and trade contractors. Our expertise in the competitive, hard bid marketplace gives us an understanding of the changing market conditions. We are proud of our relationships with the trade contractors in our region. Our relationships create and environment of synergy that enables us to deliver the highest quality at the best price and require less involvement and decision-making by clients. Dan Vos Construction's Steel Department offers full steel construction services including planning, design, estimating, scheduling, material ordering, procurement and supervision. Clients in both renovated and new facilities, find that well planned steel installations help them achieve exceptional levels of safety and cleanliness, requiring less time to clean and dry. We have developed FDA compliant procedures and installations which are ideal for controlled manufacturing environments such as food processing, bottling, nutrition, pharmaceutical and medical manufacturing.

Our team was the first to receive the Michigan Contractor of the Year Award (MCOY) from the American Subcontractors Association of West Michigan, and continue to be nominated each year for best practices, professionalism and collaboration with Michigan's subcontracting community. In 2013, our firm was awarded the 2013 - 2014 MCOY for the second time since the program began.

Community engagement for our firm began with one man helping out his neighbors. From there, Dan Vos Construction Company naturally grew into a full service construction firm helping our neighbors today.
