It began with two friends who decided to venture out and start their own business doing what had brought them together as friends - working in the flooring industry. In March of 1964, Richard Fink and Calvin Ford started F&F Floor Covering & Carpet as a partnership, working out of Decatur installing carpet, vinyl and hardwood. After years of hard work, in 1987 they were able to purchase a store front in McDonough, Georgia, and a showroom was set up where customers could come and shop for their flooring.
