At Phillip Patterson Painting, Inc we have been providing premium painting services throughout the greater Louisville, KY region for many years; and with great success. Our company has taken on both residential and commercial projects; so our experience is vast. When it comes to the interior of homes and commercial buildings; we provide painting, drywall repair, wood repair and shop spray services. What this means is that we will ensure that interior walls, doors and ceilings are repaired and prepped and finished in the most professional painting job you will ever see.
Our finishes truly are second to none in their beautiful appearance, smooth texture, and extraordinary durability. The process is also the least intrusive method of modernizing cabinetry, which translates to an immense savings of time, energy, and expense.
The paint film is the only protection between the wood, sun and rain. The paint film needs to be well maintained at all times which in turn will save the expense of replacing the complete column prematurely. These columns support the roof over the porch and carry the heavy load. If they are not replaced soon then the part of the roof structure will be jeopardized. Some items we need to spray to get the best finish. Spraying on the job site most of the time is not appropriate since the overspray can't be controlled.
The first mistake is usually made when a person takes a pressure washer and starts blasting away damaging good paint film. When you are unaware of the proper way to use a pressure washer, you're liable to do more damage than good. You need to be careful and not use too much pressure. Excessive pressure will not only break a good paint film, it can force water behind surfaces of the exterior of your home/building causing wet insulation, trapped moisture or worse water inside from around the windows and doors.
Wallpaper removal is a difficult area to estimate properly because so many factors that influence the successful completion of the job are unseen and can't be observed until work is begun. For this reason, when we quote a price for wallpaper removal, the following factors are used to establish the estimated cost. If we get into the project and find additional layers of paper, extremely durable glues, sloppy surface preparation (like wallpaper glued onto bare drywall or plaster) or a deteriorated wall surface, additional charges may apply.
