The Roof Deck is the "foundation" of your Roofing System. Our Roofing Support Team will thoroughly inspect it to determine if it's structurally sound. We will make all necessary repairs to ensure it will support your Roofing System and keep your shingle warranties intact. If we are making a cake, then the underlayment and flashing are the cake and the shingles are the icing. Our Roofing System includes metal wall and step flashing, metal drip edge, ice and water shield membrane, starter shingles, and synthetic underlayment.
The DC power is then transferred from the solar photovoltaic panels to micro inverters, where it is converted from DC power into alternating current (AC) electricity for your home. AC power travels from the inverters to the electrical panel, often called a breaker box. This power is now ready to use in your home. All commercially available PV Systems, including PV Systems with Batteries, are electrically "tied" to the grid. This allows you to send excess daytime power generation to the grid assuming your batteries are full or you don't have batteries.
There are two major components to a solar hot water system. The first is the solar collector. It is installed on a roof facing the sun. Running through the collectors are copper tubing, filled with water that absorb energy from the sun during the day. Haleakala Solar is proud and honored to have been selected by over ten thousand individuals and businesses to fulfill their solar energy needs. Although this is only a small sampling of the thousands of clients we have serviced over the years on the Hawaiian islands of Maui, Oahu and Kauai, each have their own unique story which we want to share with you.
