Stone Walls, also called Stone Veneers are beautiful structures that a stone contractor use to enhance the look of a house or a patio. These walls can be built with either natural stone (thick or thin) or artificial stone. These types, together with the several colors and designs availables, gives us almost infinite possibilities when choosing a design for our house. Thin natural stone is usually installed the same way as the artificial stone, since they are both about 1.5 thick. They are perfect to cover exisiting walls (such as brick, concrete or wood), and they only cost a fraction of the price of the thicker stone.
If you have an old and damaged driveway, or if you just dont have a driveway at all, we can give you a hand to repair or install a completelly new driveway! Driveways are usually expensive due to the large size and the amount of material and prep-work required to build them. But do not turn your back yet at this type of project. There are materials and designs for every taste and budget! Rocha Construction is experienced in buiding Concrete Driveways, Paver Driveways and Gravel Driveways. And although some of them such as the gravel driveway can be taken as "do it yourself" projects, the labor required to correclty finish the job is sometimes greater than the price it would cost to have somebody doing it for you.
A Concrete Patio is a really affordable structure that can be installed in a couple of days and that can give you a nice patio for your outdoor seating areas and grills. Unfortunately, concrete is a difficult material that does not leave room for mistakes. If the concrete dries or goes bad before you were able to finish it, the only real solution to fix it is to jack it out and rebuild. We do not recomend this type of project to be a "do it yourself" project. But if you want to give it a try, at least try not to make a very big patio as your first project.
Retaining walls are one of the masonry structures that require more labor, care and attention to detail in order to avoid structural failure down the road. We are going to list a few pointers. In general, retaining Walls are structures meant to hold the weight of the soil on a previously existing slope. If your property has a big slope that creates unusable space, a retaining wall might be right for you. All of them have pros and cons that might make one more favorable for your house than the other.
