Raymond Johnson's youngest son, Jim, opened Johnson's Landscaping Service in 1960. Since that time, Johnson's Landscaping has provided quality service to the communities of Northwest D.C., Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Kensington, Silver Spring, Rockville, Potomac, and Olney. As a testament to our many years of success, the majority of our business comes from client referrals and past customers. Installed Memorial Brick Pavers in the Garden. Trimmed, weeded, and mulched the garden in preparation for May 6, 2012 dedication ceremony. At this historic location, Strathmore Music Hall offers free, outdoor concerts during the summer, and is the site for many wedding photos. Johnson's Landscaping Service, Inc. re-designed the garden surrounding the gazebo in the Spring of 2011. Visit this link to learn more about the Strathmore Gazebo. This 7 acre historic pet cemetery, run by the Montgomery County Humane Society, was in need of a large scale clean up around the gravestones, and of masonry repair to some of its headstones.

The project came together beautifully. We are very satisfied that the work was of a very high quality and that it was last for many years. They organized their tools and materials at the end of each day, never leaving a mess for us to navigate even though lots of materials came down our driveway, steps to the back yard and side yard. At the conclusion of the project, they removed every bit of yard debris amd trash, even power washing our driveway! Areas of the yard disturbed by moving materials down were repaired completely.

Jamie is a graduate of the University of Maryland, and he received additional training at Brookside Gardens in Wheaton, MD. A designer at Johnson's since 1993, Jamie has the training and experience to undertake a wide range of landscape projects, including patios, entries, decks, hot tubs, and water features. Jamie likes to offer his clients a comprehensive plan that can be installed in phases or all at once. His designs are carefully prepared, and he enjoys blending elements of English, Japanese, and "naturalistic" garden styles in his plans.
