Design/Build

DBI specializes in high end architectural residential work, both traditional and contemporary. Our main body of work originates from a group of successful local architects where we bid or negotiate jobs as general contractors. We are also frequently asked to provide design services. We may do interior renovations in house, but usually and always for additions with a street presence we retain an architect. We are not a typical design/build firm in this regard. We then team up during the design process for pre-construction services: cost estimating - existing house survey - sub-contractor infrastructure input, etc.
