Pre-Construction is an essential part of the construction process. Whether provided as part of a for-fee service, or a negotiated Construction Management agreement, Volpatt Construction's team of experts work together with you and your Design Professionals to provide a comprehensive overview of your project.

Our vast experience with GC projects provides us with the necessary expertise to produce cost-effective solutions. Based on your project needs, we can build and deliver a customized building program. While this arrangement can be negotiated, this service is often provided under the traditional Design-Bid-Build method. Volpatt Construction has a long history of successful projects as a General Contractor. Whether we are your low bidder or you choose to negotiate your General Construction agreement with us, know that we will partner with you and your Design Professional to assure a quality construction project.

We work with you as an agent for a fee, or as your Construction Manager At-Risk with a GMP. Either way, Volpatt prepares and distributes bid packages, negotiating subcontracts, and managing the work throughout project closeout. As the Construction Manager, we will be responsible for coordinating all of the work, obtaining permits, writing and issuing subcontracts, ordering materials, scheduling tasks, performing quality reviews, ensuring site safety, conducting periodic meetings, project cost control, writing daily and monthly reports, and communicating with you and your design professional.

Volpatt Construction prefers to self-perform certain aspects of the work and if allowed, may elect to take part in the bid process for packages that require laborers and/or carpenters. Self-performing affords the benefit of better control over the project schedule, quality and can help with cost savings.

Volpatt Construction will team with qualified architects and consultants to provide both design and construction services under one contract with you. This option is ideal if you prefer single source responsibility or if you are on a fast track for completion. As either the primary, joint or secondary member of your project team, Volpatt Construction Construction will assist the design professional with the owner's programming. This means we oversee the design process and review the project for constructability, logistics phasing, and safety procedures.
