Bed Bugs are small and crypto-biotic (they live and move in secret). In fact, a bed bug forages only about 0.2% of the time which places it in a hidden area, usually a crack or crevice, 99.8% of the time. Bed Bugs can survive for many months without a blood meal. They are hitchhikers by nature and we move them from place to place in furniture, bags, backpacks, luggage, boxes, and other items. Most cockroach problems are associated with the German Cockroach. This small, light brown colored cockroach measures less than an inch in length and is commonly found in the kitchens and bathrooms of homes and businesses. The German Cockroach can usually be found within 5 feet of food and water sources. As its population grows, however, the distance from acceptable harborage may increase.
