Imperial Kitchens and Baths, Inc. was incorporated in 1966 by Bob Wiora; who was soon joined by partners Niles Alter and Ross Lange.

Take it up a notch when you lift the roof on your Bungalow or Cape Cod style home with an architecturally conscience design. While the 2nd floor full bathroom was existing in this Vintage LaGrange home, the layout made the space cramped and uncomfortable. By lifting the roof, the clients could finally enjoy the room and its amenities. Underutilized interiors and porches can become a main player when absorbed into a neighboring room. This Mid-Century Wheaton home had seen its fair share of additions and renovations leaving it feeling a bit like a broken jigsaw puzzle.

Imperial Kitchens and Baths, Inc. has had an on-site shop since its inception in 1966. Many of the cabinets we've built have provided solutions that just couldn't be found in standard cabinetry, while a few were conceptualized just for the fun of it. This master bath features a large walk-in shower and a separate whirlpool tub. But the focus is on the Imperial designed and built Zen Vanity, conceptualized by staff CBD designer, Stephanie Bullwinkel. Here the vanity was made to fit the client's needs and the size of the room, the vanity offers open access shelves and slab apron drawers and doors which open with a touch of the hand.

Basements always seem to be the place for the kids' playroom. However, with our help, an unfinished basement in Elmhurst, IL became a couple's dream recreation area for themselves. In this basement, quality time is spent around the pool table. The clients' extensive wine collection is housed in top-of-the-line wine refrigerators, flanked by custom fitted cabinetry. At the opposite end of the room, is a complimentary wet bar. Because the basement is used for more than billiards, an extensive lighting design with a Graphic Eye creates scenes to fit the event with a touch of a button.

Our company is composed of designers, material handlers and expeditors, supervisors and experienced craftsmen. Our in-house shop builds custom counters, cabinets, trim, furniture and anything else needed for a project. From the initial design vision to the last coat of paint, all our services are available with only one phone number needed to call. Our clients want to be taken care of; and as designer/general contractor we cover details that could otherwise get lost in translation. For over ten years, over 50% of our projects annually are with former clients because of our remodeling process and business philosophy.

A simple countertop, sink and faucet project can breathe new life into a kitchen or bath without the expense or time invested in a complete remodel. Our custom laminate and solid surface counters are built in our house shop to exact specifications. The artisan who measures your top is the same person who builds your top and will often be involved with its installation, as well. Our Quartz and Natural Stone fabricator of choice has one of the highest attentions to detail that we've found in the Chicago area.
