Kelly Cortum Inc., has been a leader in central Iowa as a full service excavation company for 25+ years. We work with our clients to develop the best approach to complete their projects on time and within budget. Our operation is very versatile and able to handle the most complex to the simplest of projects. We maintain a fleet of equipment, dump trucks, and a generous selection of buckets and attachments to ensure that we are operating at the peak of performance and productivity.

In 1988 with a single dump truck, a full-time job, and a dream, Kelly Cortum started his business. Over the next few years Kelly leveraged his prior thirteen years of hands on experience and developed Kelly Cortum Trucking in to a full-service trucking and excavation company. In 1994 the company incorporated and changed its name to Kelly Cortum Inc. Over the next 30 years the company has continued to grow to include a team of estimators, expert operators, safe drivers, digital & GPS technology, a fleet of dump trucks and earthmoving equipment providing footing excavation, site excavation, grading, site utilities, trucking services focused in the commercial construction sector.
