My wife and I have completed many projects with Custom Stone over the last 24 years. Steve Sims, currently at the helm for Custom Stone, was just a teenager working on his father's crew when we first hired them to work at our home. There are many interrelated reasons why we continue to go back to this company time and time again. First and foremost, Custom Stone always leaves us happy with their work. We have never had them leave a project until we were completely satisfied with every part of their job. The quality of their product is unmistakably top notch. Second, like his father before him, Steve Sims has always dealt with us with integrity and honesty. Even and especially when his honesty has cost him a significant amount of money, Steve has recognized mistakes that needed to be corrected or changes that needed to be made and insisted on correcting them at no cost to us. Thirdly, Custom Stone comes when they say they are going to come. Unlike most contractors of any kind, Steve will not tell you he is going to be there when he knows that he is not. He will not send partial crews to appease you while he is actually working another job. When it is time for your job, Custom Stone crews appear in appropriate numbers and stay until the job is done. Lastly, Steve makes it a point to employ workers who are polite, respectful, honest, and pleasant to work with. At the end of each day, they leave the project clean and organized.
