Midgleys Stove & Fireplace Center! is a growing company, and we pride ourselves on the level of service and knowledge we offer. The Midgleys name was first known to Lane County residents as their source of fine millwork from the lumber harvested locally. The location was not far from the more widely known "Midgleys Mill" at 4th and High. Millwork encompassed a wide range of details, from rough lumber to many of the doors and windows installed in Eugene homes from 1881 to the 1970's. Members of the original Midgleys family retained ownership throughout this time.
Our service department is well trained and equipped to service most lines of propane and natural gas stoves and fireplaces, as well as pellet stoves, fireplaces, and inserts. Our factory trained and certified staff can maintain and service everything Midgleys sells. Midgleys also offers annual pellet stove cleaning and tune ups. We now provide complete design and installation services for your entire fireplace or stove project. If it's helpful, we can be responsible for the framing, insulating, drywall, painting, mantel, and stone work.
Midgley's staff has been very helpful, we had issues with our stove drafting or lack thereof and they were knowledgeable on how to fix it and did not try and sell us stuff we didn't need. I feel like we are in good hands
After being treated very badly by another company I called Midgleys to come out and take a look at my woodstove because the cap had come off the top of my chimney. My wood stove insert was almost 25 years old and in pretty bad shape. Dan explained things to me very thoroughly and in a very respectful manner so that I understood why I needed a new wood stove insert. Dan Was very courteous and professional and I decided right then and there that I would purchase a stove from Midgleys after I received an estimate. My stove was just recently installed and the men who came out to install it were quick, thorough and very respectful of my property. They cleaned up after themselves and left no mess behind. Dan went over everything with me and showed me where to go online and schedule my inspection for the next day. If you are looking for a new wood stove insert I highly recommend Midgleys.
Terrific service. Basically on time and efficiently got my fireplace insert working fine again. I'll be warm and comfortable while watching TV the next time I get to sit down.
