The average household plumbing system represents an investment of about fifteen percent of the value of the house. No part of the house is more important. Nothing in the house is used more often. A smoothly functioning plumbing system is a pin to health and adds to the convenience of modern living. We look forward to helping home owners keep their plumbing systems in good operating condition. The sale value of a house with sound plumbing is far greater than that of a house where plumbing is in poor repair.
Duct Replacement is a necessity for aging and older homes. Ductwork is a key component of any HVAC system. Ducts are the primary conduit for distributing air throughout a home. Proper duct installation is important to ensure your central heating and air system is working efficiently and properly cooling / heating your home. Did you know that 70% of the duct systems are designed too small for the equipment they are connected to as a way to cut cost during a home's construction? If your ductwork looks anything like the above pictures, it can cause many problems in the very near future due to failing ductwork, leaky and/or contaminated ducts.
Most homeowners think that having areas in their home that are too hot or too cold is just something they have to live with. But we believe the only thing you need to live with is comfort. With solutions such as forced air zoning, hydronic heating, thermostats with precise temperature control and more, you'll say goodbye to hot and cold spots and hello to comfort. Forced air zoning systems work by having dampers installed in your ductwork that open and close as needed based on each zone's thermostat settings.
Rheem offers several types of water heaters, including tankless, hybrid electric, gas, electric - and much, much more. We will list a few products, but make sure to go to the Rheem websitefor detailed information on types of water heaters - and find the right one to suit your needs. Rheem has just rolled out a new Heat Pump hot water heater. They offer TWICE the efficiency of standard electric water heaters and fits easily through access doors, making retro-fits a breeze. HVAC products have used heat pump technology on heating and air conditioning for years.
Whole-House Electronic Air Cleaner - When installed into your home's heating and cooling system, a Honeywell Whole-house Air Cleaner traps and filters up to 99% of airborne particles and contaminants passing through the duct system to make sure that cleaner air is distributed to all rooms within your home. A whole-house air cleaner can also help maintain the performance of your furnace and air conditioner. Whole-House Humidifier - While low humidity levels are great for preventing mold and mildew, they can cause other problems.
Geothermal systems use the earth as a heat source and heat sink. In order to transfer heat to or from the house, heat exchangers [ground loops] are installed in the ground. These consist of high density polyethylene plastic pipes. The loops are then connected to the heat pump and fluid is circulated through the loop piping, transferring the heat between the heat pump and the earth. First you should realize that the earth absorbs and stores nearly half of the sun's solar energy. As a result, at a depth of six feet it maintains a fairly constant temperature of 45 to 70 degrees Fahrenheit.

Indoor air pollution is an issue of growing concern and increased visibility. Many companies are marketing products and services intended to improve the quality of your indoor air. However, if you decide to have your heating and cooling system cleaned, it is important to make sure that the service provider is a state certified HVAC contractor that could clean the air handler coils, cabinets, replace plenums, seal and replace damaged ducts if needed. Sealing air leakage in ducts can help save energy on heating and cooling bills.
Benefits of Duct Sealing - A duct system that is well-designed and properly sealed can make your home more comfortable, energy efficient and safer. Comfort - Sealing and insulating ducts can help with common comfort problems, such as rooms that are too hot in the summer or too cold in the winter. Indoor Air Quality - Fumes from household and garden chemicals, insulation particles and dust can enter your duct system, aggravating asthma and allergy problems. Sealing ducts can help improve indoor air quality by reducing the risk of pollutants entering ducts and circulating through your home.

Would you ever go to a restaurant, order a steak, then later pay the chef according to how long it took him to prepare it? What if he burned it and had to start over? Would the charge be double? Would you pay more for one done medium well than the girl who ordered hers rare? That wouldn't make any sense! You know the price that you're expected to pay before you agree to pay it - no surprises. The service technician is free to do his job. Not having to worry about calculating and negotiating costs, our service technician can fully concentrate on his specialty - your air conditioning.

Like our other services, we service ALL residential and business heating units and ensure that we do our best to provide a low cost, high quality solution for your situation. If your home is 10-15 years old, there's a good chance it's not as well insulated as it should be. Not having enough insulation results in major energy loss and, whether you realize it or not, your home is constantly leaking energy - especially out of the attic. Since energy costs are only continuing to rise, it's a smart idea to protect your home against these rising expenses. A well-insulated home can significantly reduce the cost of utility bills throughout the year. The insulating performance of all insulation products is measured by a common standard referred to as the R- value.
Our AC went out on Saturday afternoon. It was hot, and we were thinking we would have to suffer til Monday to get service. Called Progressive and got an appointment early Sunday morning. Tech was on time and quickly fixed our AC. Would definitely recommend Progressive for responsiveness and efficiency! Thanks!
Progressive has always come through for us with great service and super technicians. Dennis J came today. He was absolutely superb, came ahead of schedule and fixed problem quickly and double checked system to make sure problem was resolved. Highly recommend.
Tim was polite, efficient and thorough. No wasted time and he checked for possible problems we were concerned about. I really liked that he was within 5 minutes of the scheduled time. Nothing better than NOT waiting for service.
