Commercial Building Services, Inc. is a recognized and respected general contracting firm operating mainly in the Colorado marketplace. We employ only those people who strive to be leaders in the construction industry through their capability, integrity and professionalism. Our customer base is based primarily on individuals and corporations that recognize the value provided through the negotiated work or selective bid process. We strive to epitomize our customer return in their investment by utilizing our ability to provide a streamlined design build service.
The same values that Commercial Building Services started with, in 1967, are still in place today. Company founder, Ivar A. Larsen, sought to create a business, which provided state-of-the-art construction as well as outstanding customer service. It is this dedication to quality craftsmanship and commitment to honesty and integrity that makes Commercial Building Services the superior choice for construction services in the Denver Metro/Front Range area of Colorado. Commercial Building Services' projects range from $200,000 to $12 million, with our scope of work ranging from tenant finishes to large private/municipal projects.
A Superintendent's primary function is to schedule, plan and coordinate all of the activities that occur on his/her specific job site. Each Superintendent insures that all personnel comply with Commercial Building Services, Inc. procedures, safety programs, and work requirements. They are the keys in maintaining a quality project that is delivered on time. Superintendents are typically seasoned professionals who prefer being outdoors instead of the "Office Environment." Every project of Commercial Building Services, Inc. is assigned a full time, on site Superintendent that will remain with that job from start up to Owner "Move In."
The role of a Project Manager is to supervise the total construction effort to ensure the project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. This includes interfacing with client representatives and/or Architect/Engineer representatives. They will also provide technical assistance in interpretation of drawings, and recommendation of construction methods and equipment as required. A Project Manager is responsible for overall quality of the project and acceptance by the owner.
As your Project Architect, Steve More will facilitate the programming function as it relates to identifying your criteria and operational needs and ensuring that they are incorporated in the design of your facility. He will coordinate the activities of all design consultants and review the quality of their work prior to submittal for permit. At Commercial Building Services, Inc., the Project Architect is responsible for the overall quality of the design and will be personally involved in providing the most efficient and economic product meeting the operational and aesthetic expectations of the client.
