TPCA is the principal advocate and leadership organization for the professional pest control industry. We encourage the highest quality education, communication, and representation to promote our industry and the public good. In 1944, about 25 men met in Waco to discuss and plan an opposing position against proposed state legislation. That meeting was the beginning of the Texas Pest Control Association. Dr. C. A. Trimbos was the first elected President. In 1951, Bob Showalter became the first association secretary, who set up training programs and started a newsletter.
