With their shared love of construction and entrepreneurial ambition, friends Jay Redenbaugh and Jeff Smith formed a small, remodeling company in February 2003 and called it Insuramax Contractors, LLC. Insurance restoration was their main focus, but they quickly expanded their work to include full service residential remodeling, room additions, and light commercial. They changed the company name to Redsmith Construction in 2013, but their core principles have always remained the same: Provide exceptional customer service, build trust by keeping an open line of communication with clients and the team, stay updated on the latest innovations in construction, and maintain a positive relationship with subcontractors and crew.
We have an interior designer on staff to help you with initial space planning and design to selecting everything from cabinets, to paint colors, to light fixtures and more! Your designer will work with our engineers, architect and project managers to make sure all details are accounted for and that your project will come in on time and on budget.
We offer general contracting and remodeling services for a wide range of commercial projects in Metro Louisville. With our in-house team of project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors, and extensive expertise in multiple projects, we guarantee to deliver superior, quality projects.
We are a full service residential remodeler, meaning we will work with you on your project from preliminary design and estimating, all the way through construction and final details. We provide the greatest level of service, with a focus on kitchen and bath remodeling, room additions, and whole house renovations. From listening to our clients since 2003, we've learned that innovative and beautiful design, exceptional craftsmanship, responsive service, maintaining a safe and tidy work site, and respect for our client's budget are the keys to making a home remodel as stress-free as possible.
