The original Ashbusters Chimney Service was started in 1985 by Mark Stoner and has served the Middle Tennessee area ever since. One day, one of the sweeps that had worked with Mark for years expressed interest in opening up his own area. That was John Perdue, who is now head sweep at Ashbusters Charleston.
