McGrew's Flooring & More, an Authorized Dealer of Shaw Floors, was founded in 1965 to serve East Cooper and the surrounding Charleston areas with quality flooring products and services. Our mission is to continue our 55-year-old tradition of responsive service, high quality, and value along with efficient, convenient installation. After returning from World War II, Herman was attending Rice College & working for Copleston's Carpet when he decided to branch out on his own and start a business. With his son, Roy McGrew, he set out to serve East Cooper and the surrounding Charleston areas with quality flooring products and services. Today, Roy is still involved in the business. We employ a friendly and knowledgeable team to help you with the selection, installation, and maintenance of quality flooring products. We've also expanded our services to include rug cleaning, carpet cleaning, and more!

Once you've purchased your new hardwood flooring and have scheduled your installation, we'll walk you through the rest of the process so you know what to expect. We may need to remove and dispose of your existing floors. Typically, we'll dispose of old flooring at your home's trash collection site. If you have any concerns regarding disposal, please raise them with us in advance so we can make appropriate arrangements. Before your new hardwood flooring is installed, we'll measure door clearances to ensure that your existing doors will clear.
