Dayton Nursery is a complete nursery & garden center located in Norton, Ohio. Seasonally our sales yard is stocked with our famous home-grown evergreen Azaleas plus hardy trees, shrubs, roses, grasses and 800+ varieties of perennials. Fertilizers, mulches, garden decor and more are also available to accomodate all your landscape needs.

Now that the new year has begun and the old is behind us, now comes the arduous job of filing the end of the year tax reports for payroll including those for the federal, state and local governments. If that were not enough the budgeting process will begin for the. Now that we are past the shortest day of the year things are actually looking up as the days will slowly increase in length until it culminates in the summer solstice on June 21st. Our designers will compose an attractive and functional plan quickly using hand drawn diagrams or digital prints using digital software and your digital photos.

At Dayton Nursery we believe in respect for our planet and do not want to be part of environmental degradation. This is amajor reason why we have installed an"Ebb & Flow" bench system in our greenhouse. Since all the water and fertilizer for the plants is captured and recycled, less pressure is placed on local ground water supplies. Not only is no water wasted, but runoff from our greenhouse will not contaminate creeks and streams. Rain water is also collected to help supply our irrigation lake for watering our plants.

Dayton Nursery employeesshould be friendly, energetic, courteous and perform well in a fast-paced environment. The candidate must alsopossess the ability to work in both inside and outside environmental conditions and bear the physical ability to move large, bulky and/or heavy merchandise. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties. Knowledge of gardening, plant species, equpiment operation and landscape design are plus but not necessary for cashier, customer service and general labor positions.
