Todd Tindel, a freshman in a northwest Austin high school, started his business with a $25 garage sale lawn mower and grew his business throughout high school and college. In 1990, Todd graduated from Abilene Christian University with a BBA in business administration. With sales of $65,000 his senior year, Todd decided to stay with the business that had brought him this far.

We've been using Cutting Edge for 7 months now and we love them! I requested a quote for a basic lawn mowing and flowerbed weed treatment. Also wanted boarders to be put in around the flowerbeds to stop the grass from creeping in. They have been great to work and we have gotten complements on our lawn from family and neighbors.

I have used Cutting Edge for more years than I can count. Todd has always been very available to my questions. They have done excellent service for me on a consistent basis, for my residence and my rental home. The gentlemen who do the work or very nice and hard working. If there have ever been any issues, and I can't think of any off the top of my head because we have worked so long together, it has always been remedied. Thank you so much.

My lawn is the jewel of the neighborhood. I have dozens of shrubs and the crew keeps them looking great. They are courteous and very professional. I get confused on the schedule, sometimes its Monday, sometimes its Tuesday. During the recent rainfall, I got concerned that the crew would not cut the grass for two weeks. As a suggestion it would be nice if someone could text or even an email notification of when the crew is coming or set to come. Otherwise, I have to call and check, which as a year round customer should for over four years should not have to do.

Todd and his crew are top notch stellar. I've used them for over two years at one of my rental properties. Todd is extremely attentive and an involved owner on a day-to-day basis. If something isn't resolved or isn't satisfactory, he is on it within a day or two and on it! We all know how the Austin market is these days--where it is the increasing norm for people to promise more than they can deliver and/or saying they did something and then they never did and charged you anyway. After I fired two other lawn care companies and then hired Cutting Edge, my tenants are finally happy with the lawn as some of the pickiest people you will ever meet. The lawn looks amazing and is the envy of my sister who lives just a few doors down. Cutting Edge is above and beyond a reliable company that works to meet and exceed expectation with a variety of lawncare plans to meet your needs and will adjust those plans as needs change (i.e. with picky tenants!). First of all, I have never met Todd nor had any work performed by these guys. This review is based on feedback from customers I have referred. I own and operate a lawn care/landscaping business locally: KG Lawn Care LLC. Due to our limited service area/unable to take on new clients due to being at capacity I often refer potential customers to this company; especially property owners looking for turn-key package deals. I always ensure to check back with them in regards to their experience with Cutting Edge Lawn Care. Every feedback has been positive. Again this isn't a biased review but the truth.

I've been a Cutting Edge customer for about 3 months now, and have been extremely happy with the lawn service so far. The crew is thorough, fast, and work as an efficient team. I'm also very impressed with the customer support I have received.
A miscommunication led to my confusion about a service charge on my most recent bill, and though initially frustrated, I am now happier than ever! Phill and Todd responded to my concerns promptly and professionally, apologized for the mix-up, explained what happened, and corrected the situation immediately. Todd (the owner) even called me personally and made sure I was satisfied with the outcome.

I have been using Cutting Edge since 2012 upon my neighbor's recommendation and couldn't be happier. They do a fantastic job on my yard. I've also had them fix my fence posts, check and fix my water sprinkler system and mulch the flowerbeds. They also worked on a section of my yard so that I could have a vegetable garden. They have also planted two very nice trees that are thriving well and they did some major landscaping last year that is even more beautiful this year. If I've ever had a question about anything, Todd has always been very responsive. Thanks so very much! I highly recommend their service.
