I am a Realtor in Annapolis; and have very recently had clients who worked with Terry on the renovation of their historic home. The clients loved the outcome of the project; and were very impressed with Terry's creative work, and his experience working with the city of Annapolis was an invaluable part of the process. I always feel confident referring Terry to clients who need a great architect! Terry's design work is classic and timeless. I don't mean to imply it's all historic restoration, for Terry can do quite bold work.
Time flies, does it not? It is May, and off to a good start. Take time to appreciate the flowers, one and all! The season of growth is upon us, and it is beautiful. (May Day, Annapolis, 2018)
Transitions are a key part of design. As architects, we think often of how to turn corners and change directions, ideally with elegance and grace. Stairs are a building element where thoughtfulness pays big dividends. Witness these lovely examples from one of our renovation projects here in Annapolis:
Greetings one and all! It has been a while since we last reached out to everyone, so let's brush off some dust with a few views of a retail project we did here in Annapolis. It is the 3 Sisters boutique at 170 Main Street. Lovely fashion in a lovely box!
Well, it's Monday, and we are Monday-ing as best as we can here at T. Averill Architects. Chester the Security Dog can vouch for that! Here's to a great pre-Christmas week, everyone!
As architects, it is quite a kick to see projects come to life and in use. Especially when there are good eats to be had! Just a little sample of our handiwork at Sailor Oyster Bar (https:// www.facebook.com / sailoroysterbar/), 196 West Street. Happy Hour indeed!
