Kirk is an alumnus of the Kansas City Art Institute, where he focused his talents on the production and study of environmental sculpture, which subsequently led to a master's education in Landscape Architecture at the Rhode Island School of Design. His past work as a senior project manager and staff landscape architect at other area design firms, has provided him with both national and international design experience in federal/national park, urban design/city area mixed-use, university campus & religious institution campus master-plan, multi-family residential, high-end single-family residential and US embassy compound master-plan design.
