In 2005, Adam Miller started Summit Design + Build with the goal of building a company where people loved showing up to work every day; a place where employees could thrive. He also knew a great general contracting and construction management firm is built on a foundation of outstanding, long-term client relationships. That meant delivering on every promise and commitment made and like a magnet, Summit Design + Build immediately attracted great people and diverse, complicated projects. If you are looking for a single entity to be responsible for the design and construction phases of your project and don't have an architect or drawings yet, the best place to start is with our design/build services. The design/build method economizes and streamlines a project by overlapping the design and construction phases with the contractor assuming the majority of the risk. At Summit Design + Build, this means we construct the budget, schedule and building from early concept to completion. Design/build allows for fast track project execution to accommodate accelerated schedules where valuable time and cost can be saved because construction can begin before the entire design is complete.

If you are in need of someone to plan, coordinate, budget and supervise your project from start to finish hiring us as your general contractor offers a lot of benefits that will ensure the success of your project. General Contracting is available for clients who prefer to use the traditional design-bid-build approach. We assemble a team of subcontractors that we know are best suited to do the job and manage them every step of the way. Prompted by the strong growth of the South Florida and Tampa Bay construction markets and with close ties to the area, Summit Design + Build established its first regional office in Tampa, Florida in 2017. Our Southeast location operates with a national reach, servicing the entire Florida market as well as the southern United States including Texas and Missouri.

If you don't have extensive construction experience or have the time to supervise the construction process then hiring us to act as your construction manager will serve you well. Our Construction Management services allow our clients to retain control of a project while placing day-to-day construction decisions in the experienced hands of our project management team. We become involved early in the process, ideally during the planning stages, and find cost-effective solutions for project challenges that comply with the design intent and overall project objectives including time, cost and quality.
