Yolo County Arborist was established by Sean Cookman in 2001 and provides arboricultural services to residential, commercial and municipalities in Yolo County and surrounding communities. All pruning is done using guidelines set forth by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and American National Standards Institute (ANSI). We keep up to date with the latest techniques and information, and adhere to the safety standards set by our industry (ISA and ANSI), as well as Cal-OSHA. Our mission is to provide the highest quality tree services using the best techniques by Certified Arborists and tree workers.
Arborist Services: We provide arborist reports, tree inspections, and consultations; plant analysis and diagnostic; insect and disease identification and management; and tree inventories and management plans. Cabling and Bracing: Cables and brace rods are supplemental structural supports intended to reduce the risk of failure of weak and damaged branches and stems. Supplemental structural support systems should be only installed based on thorough inspection and evaluation of tree structure by a Certified Arborist.
