Shade Tree was founded in 1935 in Webster Groves, Missouri to provide contractual services to electric utilities to trim and remove trees to clear overhead distribution and transmission wires. Our corporate headquarters were relocated to Fenton, Missouri (St. Louis suburb) in 1969. We currently have regional offices in Kansas City and Joplin, Missouri; Cedar Rapids and Dubuque, Iowa; Effingham, Illinois; and, Evansville, Indiana.
