How? Arborists are trained to see subtleties in plants and trees that others might not see. As arborists, we understand the entire growing environment- we see the forest and the trees. Arborist Enterprises is a full-service tree and landscape maintenance company with a defined strategy for growth. We follow strict adherence to our green industry standards and uphold a culture of safety and respect. The spotted lanternfly is raising more questions than answers, it seems. A widely-publicized infestation is sweeping across Lancaster County, causing concerned home and business owners to wonder what kind of action they should take.
In 1991,B en and Tina Tresseltestablished Arborist Enterprises with one red truck and a vision to provide the highest quality tree and shrub care throughout southeastern Pennsylvania. Since then, we've gained many thousands of loyal customers in Lancaster, Chester and Dauphin counties who depend on us for services such as arboricultural consultation, vegetation management, lawn care, plant health care and disease & insect management. Most important of all, we've built a solid reputation as a resource in the community.
Periodic aeration allows water, nutrients and oxygen to get to the root zone. Our aerators have hollow tines that pull plugs from the lawn, which are allowed to decompose on the surface. Aeration is followed by overseeding to introduce new grass varieties and fill in thin areas. Together the combination of aeration and overseeding can produce amazing results, especially on soil which has been compacted over many years. Early fall is the best time window for overseeding in our area. To leave some time between treatment and overseeding, July and August are good months for applications to get your weeds under control.
Our love of trees propelled us into business in 1991, and it still motivates us today. Along the way, we've been privileged to work for many thousands of wonderful customers like you. What we've observed is this: You share our love of trees, and you depend on expert arborists and technicians for advice, planning, pruning, tree and shrub removal, and tree and shrub planting. When you have a high-value tree in an important location, there are many things we can do to protect its structure and ensure its overall health.
When you call on Arborist Enterprises, one of our ISA-certified Arborist Representatives will carefully study the way trees and shrubs have grown and evaluate whether they have achieved the correct shape for their species and size. As an ISA-certified arborist, your Arborist Representative has met all eligibility requirements and passed the certification exam. Certification is maintained through continuous education and research. An initial consultation is complimentary. Following this consultation, you will receive a formal proposal to review and approve.
Our holistic approach to your outdoor environment provides a consistent balance among all your plants: lawn, trees, shrubs and garden. We only use products and treatments that benefit both your lawn and your plants. You can be assured that we care for and protect all living things that make up your landscape. For lawn care, timing is critical. Our full lawn care program ensures proper timing for every service. This cumulative effect is powerful, creating greener, fuller lawns during the summertime and healthier, stronger turf through seasonal dormancy periods.
Proper mulching benefits your trees and shrubs, insulating the soil against temperature extremes, retaining water, and suppressing weeds. So, why do so many people get it wrong, piling "mulch volcanoes" high up the tree trunk, negating some of the benefits while introducing new problems? Improper mulching can lead to softening of the bark and invasion by insects, rodents, and disease. Our expert mulchers use real, shredded hardwood mulch that has been properly composted. Among other things, they'll determine the proper diameter for the mulch ring and taper the mulch thickness toward the trunk.
Whether you need us to plant trees and shrubs, apply mulch or maintain and prepare flowerbeds, we're there if you need us. You can immediately tell the difference between Arborist Enterprises and other tree companies. Your trucks are immaculate, the staff is professional and they truly care about the trees in our landscape. The spotted lanternfly is raising more questions than answers, it seems. A widely-publicized infestation is sweeping across Lancaster County, causing concerned home and business owners to wonder what kind of action they should take.
We can't promise stability in the global or housing markets as a way to preserve your investments. However, we can help preserve your landscape investment-which ultimately will improve your home value-through proper pruning. Trees may need to be pruned because of storm damage, both to protect your home and family from falling limbs and to preserve the health of the tree. Trees are often pruned for aesthetic reasons as well. Regardless of the reason, we recommend investing in a professional consultation-it could save you hundreds of dollars in medical bills and repairs.
